Positive Behaviors Interventions and Supports is a framework or approach for assisting school personnel in adopting and organizing evidence-based behavioral interventions into an integrated continuum that enhances academic and social behavior outcomes for all students. In a nut-shell, it is how we interact with one another, having common expectations and language for addressing behaviors in the school setting.
Bannach's four tenants are: Be Safe, Be Kind, Be Respectful, and Be Responsible. We clearly describe what students are expected to do in all common school areas, like the hallway, restrooms, playground, bus and bus line, cafeteria, and classrooms. Please click here to see the Bulldog Matrix.
