  • How would you like to spend part of your  junior or senior year preparing for a career by actually being employed in the local workforce? The Stevens Point School District offers students the opportunity to get hands-on career experience through the  Wisconsin Youth Apprenticeship Program. Explore a career area in depth, earn high school credit, make connections between education and work, and earn wages during the program length all while attending classes at SPASH. It is a great opportunity for a student to see relevance in what he/she is learning in the classroom that leads to career opportunities in industry.

Youth Apprenticeship offers high school juniors and seniors opportunities to prepare for a career while still in school. It is a one or two-year program combining academic education, occupational instruction, and work-based learning with an employer. Youth Apprenticeship programs help you develop skills needed for the jobs of tomorrow and gives you new options for the future.
