Degrees and Certifications:

Elizabeth Schultz-Anderson

My name is Elizabeth Anderson and I have been a social studies teacher since the fall of 2001. I became a social studies teacher because I loved my social studies classes when I was a student, and wanted to share my interest in history, politics, and economics with my students to help them become educated and active citizens.

I spent a year teaching in a small school in Minnesota before returning to Stevens Point in the fall of 2002 to teach at SPASH. I have also had the opportunity to teach 7th, 8th, and 9th grade at Ben Franklin and PJ Jacobs. Currently, I teach US History, Social Problems, and AP Micro and Macro Economics at SPASH.

I am the product of the Stevens Point School District and am proud to be a teacher at SPASH and to have my daughter and son attend our public schools because I believe that we provide a top-notch education to all students. I attended college at Augustana University in Sioux Falls, SD where I studied political science, history, economics, and Russian studies. I earned my Master's Degree in Education from St. Mary's University of MN.
