Hello SPASH students and families! I have been teaching science in the district since 2013, but teaching since 2003. Before moving back to the area, I spent ten years teaching Biology at St. Anthony Village High School in a suburb just north of Minneapolis. Although I loved it there, my husband, Matt, and I decided we wanted to live closer to family as we raise our two daughters, Kate and Anna. We also couldn't imagine sending them to school anywhere other than Central Wisconsin!

I earned my Biology Degree at UWSP with a minor in Chemistry. I later earned my Master's Degree at the University of MN-Twin Cities in Curriculum and Instruction. I love science and teaching science, but what I love most about teaching is the opportunity to build relationships with hundreds of awesome kids each year.
