Panthers Rugby Club at SPASH was founded in 2017 as a club for girls in grades 9-12. Girls from any area school can play. Girls of all sizes and athletic talents are encouraged to join. There is a spot for you on the team!Rugby is a full-contact sport sometimes said to be a cross between soccer and football - only more awesome! For the fall high school league season, there are 15 players per side and the game is filled with non-stop action. The spring season is for 7 players per side - a faster-paced game and a more relaxed and shorter season.If you are interested in playing, please email SPASHgirlsrugby@gmail.com for more information and to get on the list.Requirements: Players must have a current physical or alternate year card on file as well as a current impact test. Impact testing for spring will be scheduled as needed. Some facilities that offer physicals also offer impact tests, so you can ask to get one at the same time if convenient. All players must meet the academic standards of all SPASH sports and will need to sign up as members of USA Rugby as required of all rugby team members. There is a fee to join. However, a waiver is available if this is a hardship.Schedule:

5/6 – James Foley Memorial Tournament - Catholic Memorial, Waukesha
5/13 – Wisco 7s Event 3 – SPASH Home tournament played at 600 Maria Drive, enter off Red Arrow.
5/20 – Nationals & Kathy Cup as Friendly/Non-Wisco 7s Event, Pulaski
5/27 – Open – Memorial Day
6/3 – Wisco 7s Event 4 – Guido Cup – Cottage Grove
