The Bliss Educational Services Center supports our schools by housing the administrative departments that guide and empower both students and staff throughout each day. These departments include:

  • Buildings & Grounds - Maintaining school buildings, overseeing repairs, coordinating custodial services, and planning capital improvements.

  • Business Services - Overseeing budgeting, accounting, procurement, and financial reporting for district operations.

  • Communications - Handling district-wide messaging, media relations, public outreach, and crisis communications.

  • Educational Services - Oversees curriculum, instruction, and assessment while supporting academic achievement through professional learning, instructional support, and services for multilingual learners and advanced students.

  • Equity, Diversity & Inclusion - Implementing inclusive policies and ensuring equitable access and opportunity across students and staff.

  • Food Service - Planning nutritious meal programs, implementing wellness guidelines, and addressing student dietary needs.

  • Human Resources - Recruiting, hiring, and retaining top educators and staff; managing benefits, employee relations, and compliance.

  • Student Services - Supporting special education, counseling, intervention programs, and district enrollments.

  • Transportation - Coordinating bus routes, ensuring safe student transport, and managing fleet maintenance.

  • Technology - Managing 1:1 Chromebook distribution, supporting online learning platforms, and maintaining digital infrastructure.

Each department is led by dedicated directors and coordinators who design and oversee systems that ensure operations run smoothly, efficiently, and responsibly. Charged with unique responsibilities, from compliance and curriculum development to wellness and community engagement, these departments navigate the complexities of a large Pre-K–12 district.
