Flyer Approval and Distribution

Starting February 2017, Stevens Point Area Public School District will begin sending school eflyers directly to parents. Peachjar provides an innovative flyer management system that sends school-approved eflyers directly to parents' inboxes and posts them online. Now, parents can easily find and view flyers and take action immediately to sign up for activities and events. Peachjar charges a fee for this service. Paper flyers will no longer be distributed. 

Upon launch, organizations may register with Peachjar as an "Enrichment or Community Organization" and upload their flyer for distribution to their desired school(s). 

After your flyer has been submitted, it will be routed automatically to the school district office for approval, then emailed as a visually engaging image to all parents who have their email addresses on file at the district.

Eflyer General Guidelines

  1. All community organization/enrichment partner flyers must be approved through the District office via Peachjar.
  2. Activities must directly benefit students and support the basic educational mission of SPAPSD, promote a healthy use of leisure time and/or special enrichment activity not duplicated by a SPAPSD program.
  3. Curriculum based events such as essay contests, poster contests, “thons”, Earth Day, Arbor Day, etc. need a prior commitment from a school that they intend to participate. After participation is established, flyers must be approved through the District office via Peachjar.
  4. Materials must not publicize or promote a particular church, religious organization, or religious viewpoint.
  5. Materials must not publicize or promote a particular political party, political organization or political viewpoint.
  6. Promotional materials of a commercial nature must have educational value or be directly related to a school program.
  7. Events being offered in areas outside of the SPAPSD attendance area may not be approved if the same opportunity is available within the attendance area. Each request of this nature will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Note: Flyer approval does not constitute endorsement. Approval simply means the material has been reviewed and meets the guidelines for districtwide electronic distribution. SPAPSD reserves the right to rescind approval to any organization or person if a complaint is received or the organization or person is found to be in violation of instructions from the District office.
