Open Enrollment will take place in ERMA/Skyward on Wednesday, May 7, 2025 - Wednesday, May 21, 2025. Eligible employees will have an opportunity to change, enroll or waive insurance during Open Enrollment. All enrollment changes are effective July 1, 2025.
Employees are able to make changes to the following benefits during this Open Enrollment:
-
Health - Must elect Signature Network or Freedom Network or waive coverage
-
Dental - This is your opportunity to Add, Change, Drop or Waive
-
Vision - This is your opportunity to Add, Change, Drop or Waive
Since the District is moving from Security Health Plan to Aspirus Health Plan, employees must elect the Signature Network or the Freedom Network during open enrollment in order to be enrolled in the District's health plan. Employees not making any changes to dental or vision will need to select "no change" from the drop-down box when completing their Open Enrollment online form in ERMA/Skyward. Once open enrollment closes, employees will not be able to make changes to their insurance for the year unless they experience a qualifying event (birth, marriage, loss of insurance coverage, etc.).
Insurance Updates
Health Insurance
The school board approved a change from Security Health Plan (SHP) to Aspirus Health Plan (AHP), effective July 1, 2025. This change is necessary due to a proposed $5.4 million increase from SHP for next year due to extremely high-cost, high-risk claims. We will continue to offer the same High Deductible Health Plan design with two network options:
-
Option 1 - Signature Network: Includes most Wisconsin providers except Marshfield Clinic, and requires no premium contribution for employees with an assignment(s) of 35 hours or more per week in Skyward (see webpage for all rates).
-
Option 2 - Freedom Network: Includes most Wisconsin providers plus Marshfield Clinic, and requires a 20% premium contribution from employees (who choose this option) with an assignment(s) of 30 hours or more per week in Skyward ($305.11/month for single coverage, $689.75/month for family coverage).
Health Insurance Deductibles
-
The 2025 In-network health insurance deductibles remain the same and will continue to run on a calendar year
-
Single HDHP: $3,500 (Employee Responsibility $1,900)
-
Family HDHP: $7,000 (Employee Responsibility $3,800)
-
-
Your deductibles will carry over from Security Health Plan, meaning they will not reset until January 1, 2026
Anovia
The District’s direct primary care near-site health clinic (Anovia) will continue to be available for those enrolled in the health insurance plan. The cost for non-preventive office visits is $10 per visit (unlimited number of visits), and there will be no cost for preventive visits.
Dental Insurance
No Change - Plans and rates will remain the same for the 2025-2026 plan year.
Vision Insurance
No Change - Plans and rates will remain the same for the 2025-2026 plan year.
