The Stevens Point Area Public School District (SPAPSD) is proud to partner with Rural Virtual Academy (RVA) to offer a full-time online learning option for Pre-Kindergarten through grade 12 students. Through this consortium partnership, our local students receive the flexibility of RVA's online curriculum while maintaining a vital connection to Stevens Point resources.

Coordinated Support
Special education services are managed collaboratively. RVA assigns a special education manager who works hand in hand with our local Stevens Point staff to fulfill IEP goals.

Diplomas & Graduation
Students who successfully complete the required 23.5 credits will earn a joint RVA and Stevens Point diploma issued by our district. To celebrate this milestone, students have the unique option to walk across the stage at either the RVA graduation ceremony or the traditional SPASH graduation ceremony.
Path to Enrollment
If you wish your child to be a full-time student for the 2026-27 school year, please complete the interest form.
Please remember to explicitly select that your child resides in the Stevens Point School District when filling out the form. This ensures our families get the priority waitlist placement guaranteed by our partnership. RVA will be in touch with you via email to provide updates on enrollment status.
If RVA reaches capacity for full-time enrollments in grades 9 through 12 during the school year, our local SPAPSD Online Learning Center (OLC) may be able to provide an asynchronous option utilizing local programming and local teachers. Please visit the OLC website for more information.
