Mrs. Bushman

Hello! I have been teaching since 2000. I have had the opportunity to teach fourth, first, third and now second grade. I have spent most of my teaching career teaching second grade. I truly enjoy meeting new children each year to start out our journey in second grade! We spend a great amount of time building our classroom community so we all feel welcome, safe, and ready to learn. 

I grew up in Watertown, WI and moved to Stevens Point when I went to college at UWSP. I have been here ever since and really like this community. I am married and have two boys, Karsen and Noah. My boys are my pure enjoyment in life. They definitely keep me busy. They are kind, active, spirited and fun-loving boys. We love camping, swimming, and playing sports together as a family. The boys enjoy building legos, playing sports, building forts in our woods, and swimming. Karsen goes to Madison School and Noah will next year! How lucky for me!

When I am not teaching or spending time with my family I enjoy; running (I've done a few races), crossfit, shopping, cooking/baking, and traveling.

Each year is a new adventure in second grade and I am always excited to meet my new students and build our community for an AWESOME year!
