Thank you for visiting our class webpage. 5th grade is an important year as students read mainly to learn, transitioning from learning to read. Infused with the standards that will help all of them succeed in the following years of school, I believe it is crucial for all students to learn and practice elements of character in order to grow.

 

 

Character is something I also try to instill in my own children. My husband, Bill, and I have a daughter and two sons. If I'm not at school, I am watching and cheering for them at their soccer and tennis matches. Our three Rhodesian Ridgebacks keep us busy, while watching movies is my favorite stress reliever. 

 

  • I am so excited for the opportunity to work with all of you this year. We have many exciting and engaging opportunities before us. As we learn and grow together this year, this site will provide you with ongoing support and bridge the gap between the classroom and your home. As you explore, you will find a great deal of information that will keep you in the loop and allow you to be an involved member of the learning process. Here's to a great year!
