Stevens Point Area Senior High Names New Soccer Coach

STEVENS POINT, WIS. - SPASH is pleased to announce the hiring of Jacob Geiger as the new Head Girls Soccer Coach.  

Coach Geiger, was previously coaching with MC United in Wausau and has coached a variety of teams within the program.

Coach Geiger is a Medford High school graduate in 2016 and played high school soccer on the boys team.  After high school, he took his soccer skills to Viterbo college and played on the men's team for 2 years. After college Coach Geiger started coaching soccer in the MC United program out of Wausau and has been doing so for the past few seasons.

Coach Geiger believes that, “I am thrilled to be a part of the SPASH program. It is an organization with a rich tradition of success in both athletics and academics. I look forward to the coming season and what we can build going forward.”

Athletic Director, David Hauser, commented that “I am very excited to welcome Jacob to the Stevens Point Area School District and the SPASH Athletic program.  I know he will be a great role model for our student-athletes not only in the Girls Soccer program but in the schools as well.”
