• Our School Day

     Arrival and Dismissal Procedures

Students are allowed on school grounds when supervision begins at 8:20. Please make sure you assist your children with this policy.  All students enter the building when the first bell sounds at 8:35 a.m. and are expected to be in class and ready for instruction when the second bell sounds at 8:45 a.m. If your child is late, they are required to get a late pass from the office to give to their teacher.

Lunch and recess consists of approximately 15-20 minutes in the cafeteria, and 35-40 minutes on the playground for recess. In the cold months, please make sure your child has a winter coat, snow pants, hat, mittens and boots. To participate in winter activities, your child must be dressed appropriately. Please contact our school social worker at (715) 345-5418 if you are in need of assistance with winter apparel.

If you would like to leave a message for your child, contact the school office by 3:15 and they will send a note to your child at the end of the day. The school day ends when the bell sounds at 3:35 p.m.

When picking up your child for appointments during the school day, the office staff will contact the teacher when you arrive at the school. Our goal is to disrupt the class as little as possible and prefer to keep the student in class as long as possible to avoid missing instruction.
