Welcome to the 2020 - 2021 school year!

  • Dear Plover-Whiting Families and Community,

As principal of Plover-Whiting Elementary School, it is my pleasure to welcome everyone back to the 2020-21 school year! I would like to extend a special welcome to new families joining Plover-Whiting this year and welcome back our returning families as well! I am honored to be your principal. We are all excited to have students back in our classrooms filling the school with enthusiasm and energy. Our goal at Plover-Whiting is to work together to provide students with a rich learning environment. Our vision is to ALWAYS put students first!

We have great educators who spend hours planning and creating classroom activities to engage students in learning. Our educators utilize research-based best practices and analyze academic data to determine current skill levels and to set goals for growth and improvement. We provide all students the opportunity to learn.

Student success is attributed to the partnership and the relationships we build within our community. It truly does take a village and at Plover-Whiting we value teamwork and collaboration! Education is a joint venture and the Wildcat Team greatly appreciates the support you provide your child(ren) at home and school to help them meet their learning goals. Without the support of family, we would not be as successful.

Although this year looks different than any other year, we are dedicated to providing your child(ren) an interactive, engaging, memorable learning experience. The Wildcat Team will be focusing on all of the positives that we can take from this experience. As the role models in our little wildcats’ lives it is important that we display a positive attitude towards distance learning each and every day. I encourage you to do the same at home.

I am honored to serve as the principal of Plover-Whiting Elementary School. It is truly a privilege to be a part of a community where families, educators, and students care for each other and strive to build positive relationships that support academic and social growth. Please feel free to contact me at 715-345-5424 or email me at anhintz@pointschools.net.

Let’s make it a great adventure!

    Sincerely,

    Angela Hintz
