2026 Beacon Awards Recognize Staff Who Bring Clarity, Connection, and Care to District Communication

Four people standing in a line. One holds a framed award.

Across the Stevens Point Area Public School District, communication happens in many ways. It happens through a helpful update to families, a welcoming interaction with students, an accessible webpage, a clear explanation during a complex moment, or a photo that helps tell the story of learning in our schools.

The Beacon Awards were created by the Communications Office to recognize individuals and teams who help others feel informed, included, supported, and connected. Like a beacon, these staff members help provide guidance, clarity, and light for their school communities.

This year’s Beacon Award recipients represent the many ways strong communication supports students, families, staff, and the broader community.
