Coach Kevin Streveler Concludes 21 Years Leading SPASH Boys Track & Field
After 21 years at the helm of SPASH Boys Track & Field, Head Coach Kevin Streveler is retiring, leaving behind a legacy as the most accomplished coach in program history.
Since 2004, Streveler has shaped one of Wisconsin’s premier track and field programs, guiding nearly 3,000 student-athletes, inspiring countless young people, and raising the bar for excellence. Under his leadership, SPASH has earned:

19 Wisconsin Valley Conference titles, including a record streak of 13 consecutive indoor and outdoor championships since 2012

51 school records and 192 individual and relay state qualifiers

19 Regional titles (13 straight since 2012) and 14 Sectional titles, highlighted by 11 consecutive Sectional championships from 2013–2024

Streveler’s success has also been recognized beyond SPASH, with six Wisconsin District 2 Coach of the Year honors. “It has been an incredible experience,” said Coach Streveler. “I've had the privilege of working with outstanding, dedicated assistant coaches and nearly 3,000 hardworking student-athletes throughout my tenure. I am extremely proud of each and every one of them and everything that we have accomplished.”
SPASH Athletic Director David Hauser praised his impact. “Coach Streveler’s dedication and success have left a lasting mark on our program, school, and community. We are fortunate to have benefited from his leadership and commitment.”
Mr. Streveler will continue to teach in the district and officiate SPASH and junior high events, roles he has proudly held for the past 20 years.
