Ms. Nelson was honored at the May School Board Meeting after being nominated by sixth-grade student Isla Newport for this special recognition.
In Isla’s nomination, she shared:
“Miss Nelson is always a constant cheerleader throughout every challenge she faces. She finds new and imaginative ways to engage her class in every activity. She makes sure every child feels welcome, listens, and is open to new ideas. She’s always upbeat, positive, and always makes her classroom bubbly and exciting.”
