Point of Discovery School Invites Families to Expedition Preview Day, March 10

STEVENS POINT, WI — Families interested in learning more about Point of Discovery School (PoDS) are invited to attend an Expedition Preview Day on Tuesday, March 10, 2026. The event offers prospective students and families a chance to see PoDS in action, explore the learning environment, and learn more about enrollment for the 2026–27 school year.

Point of Discovery School is a tuition-free public charter school within the Stevens Point Area Public School District, serving students in grades 7-12. The school’s expeditionary learning model emphasizes hands-on projects, strong relationships, and real-world experiences that encourage students to discover their interests and grow as learners and people.

Group tours will be offered at 9:00 am, 11:00 am, 1:00 pm, and 3:00 pm. Families are asked to call the PoDS office at 715-345-5566 to reserve a spot. Families who prefer a private tour may also request a one-on-one visit with the school’s Dean of Students at a time that works for their schedule.

Families ready to take the next step can complete the Point of Discovery School enrollment application for the 2026–27 school year. After submitting the application, families will receive next steps by email, including access to Junior High Elective Registration, where students indicate their elective interests for the upcoming year.
