Student Panel to Culminate District’s Parent Engagement Forum and Podcast Series

STEVENS POINT, Wis. — The Stevens Point Area Public School District will host Student Voices: Navigating the Digital Playground, a student panel and community conversation on Wednesday, March 11 at 6:00 p.m., marking the final event in the district’s Navigating the Digital Playground parent engagement forum and podcast series this school year.

The panel will feature a group of district students sharing their perspectives and experiences related to digital life, social media, online safety, and the ways technology shapes school and community culture. The conversation is designed to complement the district’s ongoing Navigating the Digital Playground podcast project, which engages families and residents in thoughtful discussion about navigating technology and digital spaces in the lives of students.

“As we continue our Navigating the Digital Playground work, it is essential that students have a voice in the conversation,” said Superintendent Cory Hirsbrunner. “This panel provides an opportunity for our community to listen to what young people themselves have to say about technology, connection, balance, and support. We’re grateful to the students participating and to the adults who are creating space for meaningful dialogue.”

Student Voices: Navigating the Digital Playground will take place at the SPASH Library, 1201 North Point Drive at 6:00 p.m.

The panel is open to the public and free to attend. Registration is not required.
