Stevens Point Area Public School District Seeks Community Support for Attendance Campaign

Stevens Point, Wis.— The Stevens Point Area Public School District is reaching out to local businesses to join us in our ongoing effort to improve student attendance across the district. We have launched a campaign to encourage regular attendance by offering incentives to students who demonstrate consistent and improved attendance records. To make this campaign a success, we are seeking the support of our business community through donations of gift cards or other incentives.

About the Attendance Campaign
Our attendance campaign is designed to emphasize the importance of regular school attendance, which is critical to student success both academically and socially. Students who attend school regularly are more likely to succeed in their studies, build strong relationships with their peers and teachers, and develop the skills needed for future success. However, some students face challenges that make regular attendance difficult, and we are committed to finding ways to support these students in overcoming those obstacles.

How Local Businesses Can Help
We are asking local businesses to consider supporting this campaign by donating gift cards or other incentives that can be awarded to students who meet attendance goals. These rewards will serve as positive reinforcement for students, encouraging them to make attending school a priority.

By participating in this campaign, businesses will not only be contributing to the success of our students but will also gain visibility and goodwill within our school community. Each business that donates will be recognized in our campaign communications, including on our district website, social media platforms, and in our newsletters.
