Stevens Point Area Schools to Host a Series of Fall Concerts in October

Stevens Point, WI — The Stevens Point Area Public School District is excited to announce a series of upcoming fall concerts featuring our talented student musicians from PJ Jacobs Junior High, Ben Franklin Junior High, and Stevens Point Area Senior High (SPASH). These performances will showcase the hard work and dedication of our students and music educators, offering a delightful evening of music for the community.

Mark your calendars and join us for these special events:

• SPASH Choirs Fall Concert – Junior High Invite 
  Date: October 15, 2024 
  Time: 7:30 p.m.  
  Location: SPASH Auditorium 
  Director: Luke Adsit 
  Featuring performances by the SPASH Choir and special guest choirs from our Junior High Schools.
   

• SPASH with Ben Franklin Orchestra  
  Date: October 17, 2024 
  Time: 7:30 p.m. 
  Location: SPASH Auditorium 
  Directors: Steve Wucherer, Derek Carden 
  A collaboration between the SPASH and Ben Franklin orchestras, showcasing a rich blend of instrumental talent.
   

• Ben Franklin Bands Fall Concert 
  Date: October 22, 2024 
  Time: 7:30 p.m. 
  Location: Ben Franklin Junior High Auditorium 
  Director: Megan Lawrence 
  The Ben Franklin Junior High Bands take the stage for a night of lively band performances.
   

• P.J. Jacobs Fall Orchestra Concert 
  Date: October 22, 2024 
  Time: 7:30 p.m. 
  Location: P.J. Jacobs Junior High Gym 
  Director: Kurt Van Tiem 
  A musical evening featuring the PJ Jacobs Orchestra.
   

• P.J. Jacobs Fall Band Concert 
  Date: October 29, 2024 
  Time: 7:30 p.m. 
  Location: PJ Jacobs Junior High Gym 
  Directors: Kurt Van Tiem, Mary Nowinski 
  The P.J. Jacobs bands will present a dynamic performance to close out the month of October.

Concerts are FREE and open to the public. We invite the community to come out and support our student musicians as they share their talent and love for music.
