I hope this message finds you in the middle of a wonderfully relaxing summer, full of memories, laughter, and relaxation.
Preparations have begun for the upcoming school year. We are so excited to welcome back our Roosevelt Roadrunners, and welcome our newest kindergarteners - the Class of 2037!
As the school year approaches, we know that students become more and more excited about who their teacher will be. As in previous years, for students in grades 1-6, teacher assignments will be made available through Skyward Family Access in late August, prior to Back to School Night.
Kindergarten families should watch for a letter in the mail late next week, which will include your child's teacher and additional important information.
We look forward to welcoming all our Roadrunners back into the building very soon.
As we prepare for the beginning of the school year, we are working with PikMyKid to update all of our student information. A key piece of information needed is the preferred mode of pick up for each student.
Please complete the survey linked below to indicate how your child will be picked up at the end of the school day. This information is required from all families, including bus riders.
This meeting is for parents of incoming kindergarteners only. The meeting will include need-to-know information about day to day school life and needs. This meeting is for adults only and will not include time for students to see classrooms or get to know their teacher. Please plan to bring students the following evening for Back to School Night.

Back to School Night
Roosevelt students and families are invited to visit Roosevelt to meet your teacher and drop off school supplies. This event is a drop-in event; families are invited to come anytime between 4:00 and 5:30.
Please note - additional information will be shared from the district soon regarding when families will be able to access teacher assignments in Skyward.

In order to ensure safe, secure, orderly, and predictable arrival and dismissal procedures for our students, please note that guardians/adults are not allowed into the building during arrival and dismissal times. Our school will follow the procedures for arrival and dismissal found HERE.
Below, please find key changes regarding Food Service changes for the coming school year.
Universal free meals through the federal government have expired. However, for the 3rd year in a row, Food Service Department will provide universal free breakfast to ALL students and free lunch to any student who qualifies for free or reduced price meals!
All families are encouraged to apply for free & reduced price school meals. Please click the application button below for a paper copy, or complete the application through Skyward Family Access. Families who qualify for free and reduced also qualify for discounted school fees and fee waivers.
Student PINS
All students use Personal Identification Numbers (PIN) during meal service. Students are expected to memorize these numbers in order to help our food service line move more quickly. These PIN numbers can be found in Skyward Family Access under Food Service. A student's PIN remains the same throughout their years in school.
NOTE - Students in younger grades are not expected to know their number from the start of school. School staff will help students as needed.
